It’s finally warming up which means it’s time to get outside and barbeque some burgers!

One thing we’ve been enjoying at my house are these delicious elk burgers. My husband is a hunter and one of his favourite animals to hunt is elk because he LOVES the meat. While I’m not a hunter myself, I do get involved in the process by helping him set up cameras. Then, when we’re lucky, he is able to nab an elk and we get delicious wild game meat!

I have to admit, I haven’t always been a fan of wild game meat. However, this year, we’ve been eating it more and I’ve really started to enjoy it. One of my favourite game meat recipes that I’ve developed so far are these burgers made with ground elk meat. They are TASTY!

Also, did you know that elk has less cholesterol than beef? That makes these burgers not only YUMMY but also healthy!

One thing that makes these elk burgers (and other burgers) super easy to make is the Tupperware Hamburger Press. Making burgers without a press can be super messy as you try to pat the meat back and forth between your hands. Not only that, but I find hand-made patties always turn out uneven and or don’t fit right on the bun. But, with this little press, making perfect patties is a piece of cake!

Right now, the Tupperware Hamburger Press is on SALE! This sale only comes around every once in a while, so get yours while you can!

So, are you ready to learn how to make these FABULOUS elk burgers?

Here’s the recipe:
