It’s summertime, which means it’s time to get out the grill!

We love spending time outdoors when the weather is nice. We get out camping as much as possible each summer! I must say, when we go camping (honestly it’s more like glamping!) my hubby is the cook! He does the majority of the cooking and I plan the meals and keep everything organized. We have become a great camping team!

One of our go-to camping dishes is marinated meat (chicken, steak, elk – whatever you like!). However, it’s also great for any summer day when you feel like grilling. The marinade is the secret

to making this family favourite meal. Plus, it’s a cinch to prepare and it turns out finger-lickin’ delicious!

For camping, you can even mix up this marinade ahead of time (24 hrs max) and store it into your cooler or RV fridge for an easy meal that’s all ready to go! Here’s how to make it:

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar*
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp Paradis Valley Honey
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped in Powerchef
  • 1 tsp steak spice
  • 4 (8 oz) elk steaks, beef steaks, or chicken breasts!

*Substitute red wine vinegar, maple syrup or honey

Add all of the ingredients minus the steaks into a Thatsa Bowl. Then, use the metal whisk to mix up the ingredients. Place your steaks in the Tupperware Season Serve and pour the marinade on top. Allow the meat to marinate in the refrigerator or cooler for about 30 minutes. Then, you’re all set!

I recommend grilling in the Tupperware Micro Pro Grill, over the fire, or on your BBQ. I love serving this dish with baked potatoes and a side salad. What would you serve it with? Tell me in the comments!
